There are over 2,200 dairy farmers in United Kingdom might have the risk of entering a receivership, due to the low amount of dairy requirement in United Kingdom!
According to the Dairy Farmer of Britain (DFOB), it has over 2,200 members. Their main responsibility is to produce and selling milk to 10% of the United Kingdom’s citizens.
Basically, DFOB’s members are based in Blaydon, Nantwich, Lincoln, Llandyrnog, Bridgend, and Lubborn. In order to maintain the dairy farmers’ earning, they’re allowed to sell some dairy products, such as cheese and butter to the customers, instead of fresh and bottled milks.
DFOB has mentioned that they have lost the milk contract from many local supermarkets and grocery shops. This is also one of the reasons, why the dairy farmers are needed to enter into receivership!
