Google Quarterly Profit is Slightly Increased

Google, the big daddy of the online search, advertising, e-mail, online mapping and much more, have nearly 20,000 employees until June 2009!
Whilst most of the big corporate/companies are threatening with the financial crisis, Google is strike back the economy downturn with a beautiful Ace!
Google has recently announced that they have a better quarterly results than the expectation, when the company’s net income hit $1.48 billion in the second quarter, which is 18.4 percent increased, compared to $1.25 billion for the second quarterly profit in 2008!
Google pointed out that 53 percent of the profit is came outside the United States.
Eric Schmidt, Google’s chief executive mentioned the results projected the strength of the Google in the online business. This means, Google had stabilized its status in the competitive internet world.
Google also described the paid clicks, which is mainly focus on the Google Adsense, were 15 percent higher year-on-year. It’s a very good phenomenon, as it shown that people are willing to spend money in advertising, regardless of how bad the economy is.

I am not surprised they are posting billion dollar profits, as they pay peanuts to writers for adsense adverts!!
I am of the opinion that blogging with adsense is the new international slave labour!
