The Effective Ways to Gain More Potential Customers to Your Online Business Website
July 31st 2009 03:40
Guys, welcomed back. In the last few posts, I’ve mentioned about the ways to start up your very own online business website, but I didn’t talk about the effective methods to attract more customers to your website. Now, it’s time for me to unveil the secrets…
Hope you’ll pay attention on it, as it’s going to be a quite long explanation!
My friends always asked me, “Wilson, why it’s so hard to understand the fundamental of SEO?” I normally replied them, “Well, my friend, SEO isn’t as hard as you thought, once you’ve understood the basic rules of it!”
Talking about SEO, it’s a short acronym of “Search Engine Optimisation”. The main objective of SEO is to list your website as high as possible on the Search Engine. Hence, it would be excellent, if your website topped the first place in the first page of search result list!
You must keep in mind that the earlier your website appeared in the search result list, then the more visitors you’re likely to receive to your website!
I’ve done a detailed result on the Google search result, which I’ve spent over a year to collect and differential the data! Here’s the result I got about the percentage of searchers who are willing to click based on pages. Let’s check it out:
• Page 1 – 100 percent
• Page 2 – 89 percent
• Page 3 – 75 percent
• Page 4 – 63 percent
• Page 5 – 50 percent
• Page 6 and onward – less than 40 percent!
Based on the above statistic, you noticed that those sites in the first page are having a higher chance of getting click by searchers. Yeah, it’s an undeniable fact that most searchers will end their searching not more than page 5 of search result!
So, if you want to rank higher in the search engines, you must know that the Search Engine Optimisation is one of the crucial factors for your online business website. If you’re neglected this point in the very beginning, then you’ve doomed to fail in this competitive internet world!
Besides of the SEO, you must realize that the pay per click service is playing an important role for your online business website. For those who didn’t aware about pay per click (PPC), it’s actually an internet advertising model that being used on search engines and advertising networks. The advertiser has to pay the host, if the visitors have clicked their ads!
Most people think, it’s totally a waste using the pay per click program. Well, it’s totally a wrong perception, as many advertisers/companies have been gained a huge profit, thanks to the pay per click program, such as Google Adwords, which is bringing more potential customers to their websites!
Believe it or not, with an efficient pay per click management, you can enjoy a higher click through rate (CTR), with a lower cost per click (CPC) and a better return on investment (ROI)!
In conclusion, if you combine the SEO and pay per click together, it turns into a magic chemistry that will help you generate more and more visitors to your online business website!
Hope you’ll pay attention on it, as it’s going to be a quite long explanation!
