It seems that the recession have leaving many deep impact on the global economy. The European Central Bank’s staffs cannot hold their tension anymore, where they’ve decided to held a first-ever strike in front of the building in Frankfurt on June 3rd 2009.
The main reason why the ECB (Short acronym for European Central Bank) staffs striking because they’ve been reduced their benefits, especially their pensions’ amount have been cut down unreasonably!
It was the first industrial action at the ECB in the last 10 years history. However, it won’t be the last protest, if the ECB workers keep treating with the unfair worker’s benefits!
After the protest, the ECB staffs have been informed in letter by ECB president, Jean-Claude Trichet personally. They have written the statement in black and white that they will dock the pay of those staffs that involved in the strike!
Based on the above situation, the cases won’t be ended, at least in a very short period…
