Australia News: ✈︎ Surviving the Red-Eye on Malaysia Airlines ✈︎ to Perth + GOLDEN LOUNGE

Hello fans and occasional viewers,
I am very proud to present to you my latest Trip Report which will take us on a red-eye flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Perth, Australia.
We will fly on an Airbus A330-300 operated by Malaysia Airlines. Even though we were traveling in Economy Class, we could access the famous and neat golden Lounge in KLIA’s satellite terminal building.
Have fun and enjoy watching! 🙂

  1. Good video, but you have me a little confused. At 1.03, you state that there is no alcohol inside, but later you say you had a couple of beers. The last time I was in the Golden Lounge there was certainly a cocktail bar and fridges full of beer. What have I mis understood?

  2. Golden Lounge ???? I call it “ Rotten Lounge

Visited twice between March 2017 and
    June 2017,  Bangkok / KUL / Osaka ….my
last flight with Malaysia Airlines for sure .

AVOID this airline AT ALL COST , never
mind the promotion they offer you ….SKIP IT
    Delays more frequently every month…..

Wrote letter about all this to the CEO ,
got reply saying they are investigating it, and offered me
5000 miles extra on my card.
The only thing …… they closed Golden
    Lounge for “ renovation "

The food is usually cold. They
should change the options more frequently as well rather than keeping the same
food for more than 12 hours. Always same menu during months.
The showers and toilets were very dated and dirty. Cockroach comes for free.
Cockroaches in the shower and near the buffet area in the lounge, no hot water
in the showers and worn out grey (once white) towels. Strangely, passengers
were required to surrender their boarding pass in exchange for a towel. Once again I was left wanting a
glass of alcohol, which is not served on short flights.Malaysia's policy of no alcoholic
drinks on shorter sectors (less then 3 hours) is lamentable. With so much low
cost carrier competition in the region MH needs to do better OR PREPARE
BANCRUPTCY WHAT THE HELL ARE BUSSINESS
PASSENGERS PAYING FOR ?WE DON’T EXCPECT CHAMPAGNE ON SHORT FLIGHTS BUT AT LEAST
GLASS OF WINE OR BEER AS ON ANY OTHER AIRLINE EVEN IN ECONOMY CLASS.Unfortunately the MANAGEMENT in
charge of is consistent in their continued blunders…which will
    REMEMBERED  by PASSENGERS UNTILL THE
DOWNWARDS SPIRAL LEADING TO SOMETHING WHAT IS UNAVOIDABLE …….Even the airport is going to the drain …. MALAYSIA AIRLINES NEVER AGAIN …..Have a look at Skytrax reviews , then the story becomes
    clear.
